My first amigurumi!

I made my first amigurumi! I figured out the magic loop to begin amigurumi and from there it's easy when you only need to decrease and/or increase single stitches. I got my design from a cute book which I've got for my birthday from two friends of mine. This is the book that I have:

The thingy that I made is a cup of cappuccino with an adorable face! The only thing is that I learned that the stitches are closer together when I put more tension on the thread. So... the bottom of the cup is bigger then the top part... But hey, I'm still learning. And I'm learning still, because I'm making another creature from this book, which is a cactus in a pot :P I'm also proud that I started crochet. My grandmother, who died when I was eleven, used to croched. I loved her work! She had doilies and filet crochet against the window of the backdoor. Just gorgeous! I'm hoping to figure out how to start a filet crochet and how to make a cute edge around it, I'll be amazed!! I wish I could make the things that my grandmother onse made and one day I will be able to do so. I anyone knows a good video tutorial or a tutorial with pictures, please let me know :D

Mario stars in plush form!!

I made these a while back, but I wanted to show them anyway, because they're so cute! I made them by looking for a perfect star by looking on google for a colouring page with a big star on it.
Very simple, yet effective ;) Thay are made from a piece of towel. I'm thinking about selling them for €20,- each. I'm not sure how to send them to a buyer or how to get the money from the customer. Let me know how you do it when you sell some of your stuff ^^

A new bag

I needed a bag so I can carry food and water with me during my holiday. Me and my mom went shopping in Valkenburg aan de Geul and we found this lovely bag. I also had a small bag which fit my wallet, keys and phone with the same type of flower on the front. But the new bag is a flower with several colours ^^ Just looking at it makes me happy :D The idea of me walking with it in Italy makes me happy!

Light pink nail polish from Paris Memories

This is an innocent color! Very shiny too. It took two coats to make it look good. I can still see the streaks of the brush though. But hey, this nail polish was very cheap, so what do you expect ^^ A while ago I could buy 6 of these nail polishes for €5,- (so I bought 12 of them XD). It's sad that this nail polich doesn't have a name... If I had to make up a name for it, I'll call it: Little ballerina, or innocent girl.

Glitter nails

I did my nails a few days ago and I decided to take a picture before I redo my nails ^^
This is a nail glitter nail polish from Claires. I've got several glitter nail polishes, but this one is the only one that I like to wear without any type of colour underneath. The picture is a bit blurry... But I can say that it took only one to two coats for a pretty good coverage. I hardly own any high-end nail polish so I can't say if this is the best glitter nail polish of all time, but it is my favourite in my collection ^^ If you like glittery nails, go to Claires! :D

Banana Muffins!

I made some banana muffins yesterday! They were freakin' delicious! My boyfriend didn't like them that mush... He sayd that the bananas were overpowering. I didn't mind that at all ^^ I loved the way they tasted when they were warm ^^

Sock monkey couple

Hello everybody! I decided to start my own vlog. I'll be putting things here that I made or that I love!
I hope you like it! I'll start with two sock monkeys that I just made. They are made from two socks that are from the same package. I showed my best friends my creations that I put on http://femjo.deviantart.com/gallery/32745522# and I told her that the monkeys were made by one pair of socks. She and her mother loved them so much, that we went to the mall to look for socks. This is the end result:

They totally loved them! Her mam said she wanted to give them a home on their couch! The fun part (for me) is that my best friend wanted the striped one when they were just socks, and now she wants the one with the flowers ^^ They haven't seen the monkeys in real life and I'm curious how they are going to react! I'm excited!

Would you like to make one too and would you like to know how I made them? This was the guide that I used when I made my first sock monkey:
